مثالهایی برای مفرد:

1.There is a bag on the desk.

2.There is  one chair in the classroom.

3.There is a radio under the table.

مثالهایی برای جمع:

1.There are five books on the desk.

2.There are many students in this school.

3.There are two soldiers in the street.

حالت پرسشی :

1.Is there a cup on the table?

2.Are there many cars in the street?

حالت منفی :

1.There isn't (isnot) a ball in the classroom.

2.There aren't (arenot) six buses in the street.

جواب کوتاه و بلند.

1.Is there a cat on the wall?

a.yes,there is.There is a cat on the wall.

b.No,there isn't.There isnot a cat on the wall.

2.Are there many glasses on the table?

a.Yes,there are .There are many glasses on the table.

b.No,there aren't.There arenot many glasses on the table.
