الف-اسامی قابل شمارش :

مثال:

ب-اسامی غیر قابل شمارش :

پ :برای پرسشی کردن جملاتی که اسامی قابل شمارش در انها بکار رفته است باید در اول جمله از کلمه ی پرسشی How many   استفاده کنیم:

1.There are  ten cats on the wall .

-How many cats are there on the wall ?

2.Mrs Smith  sees many students in the  classroom?

-How many students does  she ( Mrs Smith ) see in the classroom ?

ت:برای پرسشی کردن جملاتی که اسامی غیر قابل در آنها بکار رفته است باید در اول جمله از کلمه ی پرسشی How much استفاده کنیم :

4.I eat a lot of  bread and cheese for breakfast.

-How much bread and cheese do you eat for breakfast ?

ث :برای جواب دادن به جملات پرسشی چه تعداد و چه مقدار از این کلمات استفاده می کنیم :

گفتن ساعت :

Telling the time :

در زبان انگلیسی وقت را به دو روش می گوییم:

الف :دقیقه ساعت:

در روش دقیقه ساعت ابتدا به عقربه ی بزرگ دقیقه شمار توجه

می کنیم و ابتدا دقیقه را می گوییم بعد از کلمه  past یا  to بین دقیقه و ساعت استفاده می کنیم.

ولی در روش ساعت دقیقه .

ابتدا به عقربه ی ساعت شمار  و بعد دقیقه شمار توجه می کنیم.

مثال :

1.What time is it?  ( 2:10  )

a.It's ten past two.

     O r

b.It's two ten.

2.What time is it ?  (5 : 45 )

a.It's a quarter to six .

     O r

b.It's five forty_five.

3.What time is it?   ( 11:55 )

a.It's eleven fifty_five.

    O r

b.It's five to twelve .
